3 June 2025 The 2025 season of the Spanish Speed Cup comes loaded with attractive new features that reinforce its formative and competitive nature. Once again this year, the main national categories will share the track with the regional competitions, making up a plural, complete and exciting competition, which will also include single-brand cups and support categories.
Sprint race + Long race
The Superbike, Supersport, SSP300 and PreMoto3 categories will contest a timed practice and two races at each event. The first of these, a short MotoGP-style Sprint race, will award points to the top ten riders and will also be used to determine the top nine grid positions for the feature race.
In addition, the SSP300 and PreMoto3 categories will share the track throughout the season.

Inclusion of women's and Master's championships
In this edition, there will be a Women's championship in the SBK, Supersport and SSP300 categories. The riders will compete alongside the rest of the participants and will compete for the general classification as well as for their own podium and female classification.
There will also be a Master SBK general classification for riders over 40 years of age, which will also have its own podium and separate prizes.

BMW RR Iberia Cup as supporting category
The prestigious BMW RR Iberia Cup also repeats in the Spanish Speed Cup, which will be present in 3 events of the season plus an extra one in the ESBK. A single-brand competition managed by BMS Racetech.
Participation in regional cups and championships
Despite the limitation of dates and track times, the Copa de España de Velocidad 2025 will accommodate, in specific races, various regional cups and categories such as: Easy Race, Finetwork Moto 5 and PreMoto3, Classics and Critérium 125 cc of Andalusia, among others.
The Spanish Speed Cup is consolidating its position as a key platform for the development of the future talents of national motorcycling.
