Start of the ESBK in Jerez Postponed

RFME Statement

March 10, 2025 The first race of the Spanish Superbike Championship (ESBK), originally scheduled for March 22-23, has been postponed to April 5-6.
Last week, we announced the cancellation of pre-season testing due to torrential rains that had rendered the circuit unusable.

Despite the efforts of the staff at the Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto to prepare for the ESBK’s start on the scheduled date, the persistent heavy rainfall in the area has significantly hindered recovery work, making it impossible to guarantee a safe race.

For this reason, and with great regret, the RFME, the FAM, and the circuit management have decided to postpone the event to ensure that participants can compete under optimal conditions.
