Provisional 2025 Calendar

10 de enero de 2025. January 10, 2025. In the year of celebration of its 40th anniversary, a total of 11 events make up the 2025 racing season of the Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto, to which must be added other important activities such as the Anniversary Trophy-Open Doors Day, which, as in previous editions, is a charity event scheduled for the month of December. Along with these events already scheduled in the provisional calendar, it should also be noted the days dedicated to official test sessions of different categories, such as MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3, ESBK, FIA Academy Test and FIA F3 collective test, which are also scheduled for this new season at the circuit.

The racing season will open from February 7 to 9 with the Winter Cup for the Formula 4 and Europcar categories, two of the most interesting single-seater categories in the motor racing that start the season with collective tests that culminate the weekend with the first races of the season.

From Racing Cars we move on to motorcycling in March, as the ESBK, the Spanish Superbike Championship, will begin its new course on the 22nd and 23rd and, as in previous seasons, will visit our facilities twice to open and close the season in Jerez.

The star event of the season, the Spanish MotoGP Grand Prix, will take place in April, specifically from 25 to 27 in an edition, precisely the 40th in a row that coincides in number with the 40th anniversary of the circuit. The Motorcycle Grand Prix has been held every year since 1987, the beginning of this close collaboration with MotoGP, although it should be remembered that in 2020, the year of the pandemic, Jerez opened the MotoGP season by organizing two consecutive weekends of races with the Grand Prix of Spain and Andalusia, hence the 40th consecutive edition that will be held this coming April with the Grand Prix of Spain 2025.

The motorcycling competitions will continue at the end of May, on the 30th and 31st, and on the 1st of June with the international FIM JuniorGP event, a breeding ground for young national and international talents that will one day fill the starting grids of the world championship categories. This event will be followed the following week, that is, on June 7 and 8, by the Spanish Cup and the Andalusian Motorcycling Championship, events focused on amateur competitors that will have a second date in Jerez, specifically on October 4 and 5.

Once the summer is over, the competition returns in September, on the 20th and 21st with the 'Racing & Weekend' motorsport event, which among other categories will come to Jerez with the touring cars of the TCR Spain, the Spanish G.T. Championship and F4 Spain.
In October, in addition to the previously mentioned second round of the Spanish and Andalusian Motorcycling Cup, another of the big events of the motorcycling season will take place in Jerez from October 17 to 19, the World Superbike Championship, which, as in the two previous seasons, will hold its final round of the season in Jerez, the event that closes the 2025 championship.

And we reach November where classic car enthusiasts have their appointment of the season with the Jerez Classic car show, which in addition to having interesting categories for classic cars, also incorporates current touring car categories, so the show for the fans is guaranteed.

One week later, the ESBK, the Spanish Superbike Championship, which will open its new season in Jerez in March, comes to an end once again at our facilities, bringing the season to a close with the last race of the year, which will take place on November 8 and 9.

Finally, the racing season will conclude on December 6 and 7 with the last qualifying race for the Andalusian Motorsport Championship, while the season of events will end, in this case the Anniversary Trophy and Open Day, scheduled from December 12 to 14.
