20 January 2025. The WorldSBK teams, along with others from the WorldSSP category, kick off the season this week at the Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto, in what will be the riders' first contact with their bikes in this pre-season 2025.
Despite not being an official test, the event is highly interesting as all the premier class teams are represented; Bimota-Kawasaki Racing Team, HRC WorldSBK, Pata Yamaha Prometeon, Rokit BMW Motorrad, GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK, Ducati Aruba, Yamaha MotoxRacing WorldSBK, Barni Racing, Team Go Eleven, Motocorsa Racing, Elf Marc VDS Racing Team, Bonovo Racing, Petronas Mie Honda, etc.... along with other World Supersport teams such as Pata Yamaha Ten Kate, Team Renzi corse, Honda WorldSupersport, Milwaukee Ducati.....
Testing will begin on the 21st when most of the WorldSSP teams will take to the track, while the WorldSBK premier class testing will start on Wednesday 22nd and conclude on Thursday 23rd. Wednesday will therefore be the only day when both WorldSSP and WorldSBK riders will be on track together at the Jerez circuit.
The test sessions will be held from 10am to 6pm and the public will be able to follow them free of charge from the X-1 grandstand.
