José Ángel Aparicio highlights that “the Anniversary Trophy and the Doors Day have been days of coexistence and solidarity”.
7 de enero de 2025January 7, 2025. The Real Automóvil Club Jerez and Hispano Racing have presented the Three Wise Men of Jerez 2025 with a check for 18,067 euros raised at the Angel Nieto Jerez Circuit Anniversary Trophy, held on December 13, 14 and 15, 2024.
The Anniversary Trophy and the Open Doors Day have joined one more edition in the charity campaign of the Association of the Three Wise Men of Jerez 2025. The Anniversary Trophy and the Open Doors Day have been possible thanks to the collaboration of the Jerez-Angel Nieto Circuit, the Jerez Local Motor Council, as well as numerous volunteers, racing teams and companies linked to motor racing.
The proceeds were obtained thanks to the activities organized during three days at the Jerez track. The Slalom race, Rallye Show Social, the Super Sports Track days, the Reyes Magos 2025 Social Trophy, track days of various categories and the solidarity laps on the day of the Open Day, have totaled 18,067.17 euros of collection, amount to which has been added the proceeds from the exhibition of Drift in the parking outside the Circuit by Drift Games and the proceeds obtained by Sugar Racing in the Solidarity Round. The total amount collected in the different activities was 34,542 euros.
José Ángel Aparicio thanked, on behalf of the Mayoress of Jerez, María José García-Pelayo, the Real Automóvil Club Jerez, the management and workers of the Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto, the Consejo Local del Motor, the collaborating companies, volunteers and volunteers for making the Anniversary Trophy and the Open Day “days of coexistence and solidarity”. The head of Sports has assured that “the city of Jerez and the motor enthusiasts have made possible that many children from Jerez, and also from Valencia, have their toys on January 6th”.
It should also be remembered that, once the campaign is over, the Association of Magi delivers the proceeds to various associations and non-profit organizations in the city so that they can meet their needs.
Those present at the event have been placed in next year's edition to increase the activities and, therefore, the collection for the Association Reyes Magos in Jerez.
The ceremony of delivery of the charity check, which was held at the headquarters of the Real Automóvil Club Jerez, was attended by the municipal delegate for Sports and Education, José Ángel Aparicio; the three representatives of the Three Wise Men in Jerez, María Jesús Palacios, Jesús Méndez and Rober Pazo; the president of the Real Automóvil Club Jerez, Javier Galán; the managing director of the Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto, Cayetano Gómez; members of the board and partners of the Real Automóvil Club Jerez; Moisés Cáceres of Hispano Racing, and representatives of the Escudería Ubrique, the Escudería Sur and Motorsport Andalucía, among others.
