14 February 2025 The MotoGP Grand Prix season is just around the corner. From 28 February to 2 March, the start of a new racing season will take place at the Chang International Circuit in Thailand.
Prior to the start of the season, the riders and teams have had several testing sessions in order to arrive in the best possible conditions for the first Grand Prix of the season. The MotoGP premier class held a “Shakedown Test” at Sepang at the end of January and beginning of February with the factory test riders, which continued a few days later, from February 5th to 7th, with the official riders on track. The official testing season came to a close with the tests in Thailand, which took place this week and in which Marc Márquez dominated in top form on the factory Ducati.
Therefore, if in the premier class they are ready to face the first Grand Prix of the season, in the case of the Moto2 and Moto3 categories, they still have a small margin for improvement with the official tests that will take place next week at the Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto.
The three days of testing will begin on Tuesday 18 February and conclude on the 20th. All the teams that make up the intermediate and small category of the MotoGP World Championship will be represented at these tests.
Each testing sessions will start at 10 a.m. and will end at 18.00.
