The Mayor of Jerez presents the parallel activities to the MotoGP Grand Prix and highlights that Jerez will win the hearts of bikers and fans from all over the world from April 21 to 27.

La Alameda Vieja will be the epicenter of the recreational activities organized by the City Council and the Local Motor Council during the Grand Prix.

The traditional motorcycle parade will arrive on Thursday, April 24, from the Circuit to La Alameda Vieja, where the 'Garage Motor' of the Márquez brothers, the motorcycle market, and the 'Food Trucks' Fair will be set up.

The presentation of the Motor Awards Ciudad de Jerez will take place on Thursday, April 24, at the conclusion of the Motorcycle Parade.

April 4, 2025. The Mayor of Jerez, María José García-Pelayo, has presented the activities organized by the City Council and the Local Motor Council, which will have La Alameda Vieja as their main epicenter, in celebration of the MotoGP Spanish Grand Prix, to be held at the Jerez-Ángel Nieto Circuit on April 25, 26, and 27.

At the event, held at the Monumental Complex of El Alcázar, which, along with its surroundings, will be the epicenter of many of the announced activities, the mayor was accompanied by the deputy mayors, Agustín Muñoz and Antonio Real, as well as the Sports Delegate, José Ángel Aparicio. Also present were the citizen vice president of the Local Motor Council, José Hermosín, and the provincial deputy for Development and Employment, Andrés Clavijo.

María José García-Pelayo thanked the work carried out by the various municipal departments involved, the Local Motor Council, and the sponsor Estrella Galicia, which will make it possible for "on April 21, Jerez will fire up its engines and become the heart of bikers and fans from all over the world. The program for this edition has been carefully crafted and nurtured, as we celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Jerez Circuit." The mayor also expressed her gratitude to all the mayors the city has had, as well as the management of the Jerez circuit, whose efforts and support have greatly contributed to making the circuit a city project. 

She also noted that "the Junta de Andalucía has finalized the celebration of next year's Grand Prix and is working to secure it through to 2031. In this regard, she stated that this stability is very positive for continued progress and will contribute to Jerez's bid for the European Capital of Culture in 2031."

 
Parallel activities

On the other hand, María José García-Pelayo has unveiled all the activities organized starting from April 21, highlighting that the city will have "seven spaces where citizens can also enjoy the world of motorsport and the leisure activities that have been prepared, as we want everyone to enjoy and get involved in this event, which will have global visibility." In fact, this edition will expand its informational support, and in addition to banners on Álvaro Domecq Avenue, information will also be displayed on 40 digital billboards (mupis) that will feature a QR code, from which the full range of organized activities can be accessed. 

The mayor emphasized that El Alcázar will host the 'Garage Motor' of the Márquez brothers, Álex and Marc, who were present at the event through a video message, expressing their happiness to participate once again and praising the sports and leisure atmosphere at the circuit and in the city. The 'Garage Motor' will be open from 12:00 to 02:00 and will be inaugurated on Thursday, April 24. Similarly, the 'Food Trucks' Fair and the Motorcycle Market will be located in La Alameda Vieja, open from 12:00 to 02:00, from April 24 to 27.

Among the activities highlighted by the citizen vice president of the Local Motor Council, José Hermosín, is the Motorcycle Parade, which will depart from the circuit heading to the city center, reaching La Alameda Vieja on Thursday, April 24. This will mark the beginning of the Motor Awards Ciudad de Jerez ceremony. The estimated start time will be 19:30, and around 3,000 bikers are expected to participate in the parade. A parking area will be designated around El Alcázar for this purpose, with the possibility of using Plaza Silos and Plaza de la Encarnación if needed. 

In his speech, Hermosín expressed words of thanks and congratulations to the entire organization and shared his satisfaction that the program includes all kinds of activities for people of all ages. 

The program includes musical performances at Plaza del Arenal and Plaza de La Asunción on both Friday, April 25, and Saturday, April 26, from 20:00 to 02:00. Additionally, on Saturday, April 26, a children's show by BabyRadio will take place at Plaza del Arenal, on the special stage for musical entertainment, from 11:00 to 15:00.

Also in the city center, the organization of musical activities at Plaza Rafael Rivero will be important, taking place on both Friday, April 25, and Saturday, April 26, from 17:00 to 02:00. This year, there will also be activities on Avenida de Europa, where Antena 3, La Sexta, and Onda Cero will be present.

Motorcycle exhibitions will take place on Avenida Domecq, along with new activities on Avenida de Europa.
Additionally, on Avenida Alcalde Álvaro Domecq, there will be an area for motorcycle exhibitions, located between IES Padre Luis Coloma and Plaza del Caballo, from 17:00 to 23:00 in a designated zone. On Friday, April 25, riders from the Jerez Motorcycle School and a professional "Stunt" performer will participate. On Saturday, April 26, the Jerez Riders School will return, and there will be a RedBull motorcycle exhibition.

One of the novelties of this edition is the creation of a large parking area on Avenida de Europa, in the industrial park located opposite Carrefour Norte, where musical activities, motor-related merchandise stands, food trucks, and children's attractions will take place from 17:00 to 02:00.

The welcome party of the 'Sin Gasolina' Motorcycle Club and an exhibition at Los Claustros.

On Saturday, April 26, the traditional welcome party organized by the 'Sin Gasolina' Motorcycle Club will take place. This year, it will be held at the Niloo restaurant, located next to Parque González Hontoria, on Avenida Alcalde Álvaro Domecq.

Regarding the children's drawing and motorcycle fashion awards, the prize ceremony will take place on Friday, April 25, from 18:00 to 20:00, at Los Claustros de Santo Domingo. 

Precisely in this space, at Los Claustros de Santo Domingo, from April 23 to April 27, a free exhibition featuring motorcycles from the 'Montesa' brand will be open to the public. There will also be a photography exhibition commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Circuito de Jerez, available from 10:00 to 21:00.
