The manager of the Jerez Circuit, Cayetano Gómez, gave a lecture to the engineering students from the UCA as part of the free practice sessions of the ESBK, which the Jerez-Ángel Nieto Circuit is hosting this weekend.

April 4, 2025. Today, the Jerez-Ángel Nieto Circuit hosted a special learning day for the students of the University of Cádiz (UCA) as part of the celebration of the ESBK (Spanish Superbike Championship).

During the automotive week organized by the University of Cádiz in its engineering department, a visit to the facilities of the Jerez-Ángel Nieto Circuit was scheduled. The students were welcomed by the manager of the Jerez circuit, Cayetano Gómez, who gave a lecture to the future engineers about the daily activities carried out at the circuit. He shared his experience and insights on the management of one of the most iconic circuits in the world of motorsport at an international level.

The activity, which took place during the exciting ESBK - Spanish Superbike Championship, aimed to bring the students closer to the technical and operational aspects of a circuit of this level. Cayetano Gómez spoke about the importance of engineering in the world of motorsport, from the design and maintenance of the infrastructure to the planning of large-scale events, such as the international championships held at our facilities.

The lecture was a unique opportunity for the students to interact with the circuit manager, ask questions about the day-to-day challenges, and gain firsthand knowledge about the future prospects of the facility.

The day concluded with a visit to the track's auxiliary services, where the students were able to enjoy watching the ongoing tests from a corner of the circuit.

These types of initiatives reinforce the Jerez-Ángel Nieto Circuit's commitment to training and supporting the new generations of professionals in the field of engineering, providing them with a unique and enriching experience at the heart of the action.
